Atelier Social vs Metricool

Metricool already rewrites your caption per platform. Here's what happens after that.

Metricool's per-platform AI rewrite is real and good — this isn't a page about Atelier Social inventing something Metricool lacks. It's about what happens next: reuse, guardrails and client structure.

The short version

Choose Atelier Social if

  • You need client or brand hierarchy, native Airtable sourcing, and scheduling guardrails beyond flat daily limits.
  • You need follower history that survives a disconnect and reconnect.

Choose Metricool if

  • Per-platform AI rewrite and boosting from an existing post are your main asks.
  • You're comfortable with a flat one-profile-per-network-per-brand model, and price per brand matters most.

Every Metricool verdict below comes from their own public documentation, help centre, feature pages and integrations pages, checked 12 August 2026. A dash means we could not confirm it publicly, which is not the same as saying it does not exist.

To be fair to Metricool

Where Metricool is ahead

  • Genuine per-platform AI rewrite (“edit by network”) with different tone and copy per platform — one of only three competitors in this audit with a real version of this.
  • Boosts an existing Facebook post or Instagram Reel directly, confirmed.
  • Massive scale and trust: 3.5 million professionals, with enterprise logos including Adidas, BMW and Burger King.
  • A straightforward, well-documented “Brand” data isolation model — clean and simple to understand even if less flexible than tags.
  • Competitive pricing at scale, around $53–67/mo for 50 brands on the Advanced tier.

Where Atelier Social pulls ahead

What you get here that you don't there

  • Metricool's own help docs state follower counts are not recoverable for a disconnected period, and reconnecting via a different method shows only the last 30 days. Atelier Social's normalised analytics close that gap.
  • Metricool caps at one profile per network per brand — no nested client or location hierarchy at all.
  • Daily posting limits are platform-imposed rolling caps plus a monthly fair-use threshold, with no configurable per-weekday cap system.
  • No native Airtable integration, and no confirmed reuse automation that rotates currently-trending hashtags — Metricool surfaces a top-five best-posts list, but a human adds it to an Autolist manually.

Pricing, side by side

Metricool

Metricool Advanced around $53–67/mo for 50 brands, roughly $1.06–1.34 per brand.

Atelier Social

Starter $79/mo (5 tag-groups) · Agency $229/mo (30) · Scale $449/mo (100, hard cap) — billed per tag-group (a niche, brand or location), not per seat or per connected account. Each tag-group bundles up to 8 connected platform accounts at no extra charge.

Straightforwardly: Metricool is meaningfully cheaper per unit at raw volume, full stop. This isn't a page that tries to win on price. The case for Atelier Social is what's included per unit — genuine per-weekday scheduling caps, native Airtable sourcing, and a reuse flywheel with live-trending hashtag rotation.

Two things we don't offer, stated plainly: there is no white-label option on any tier, and there is no unlimited tier — Scale caps at 100 tag-groups by design, and anything beyond that is a custom-quote conversation.
